I was deeply affected by David Bowie’s passing in early 2016. I recorded Everyone Says ‘Hi’ in February as a tribute. I knew I wanted to do a new project, and a quick one. I did not know it would end up being an album of some of my favorite songs, by artists who have influenced me.
