Blue Tattoo was written and recorded primarily between August 2016 and March 2018. Though parts of ‘You & I’ and ‘Going Home’ hearken back to October 2014, and ‘Groundless’ September 2015. As my 60th birthday approached, I felt the need to get this done. I kept discarding tracks until I had the mood I wanted throughout. 40 years on, this is my 23rd album of music. To me, it is a Dark Beauty. I hope you agree.
