Paul Kitchen | You Define Mystery Single

The ancient Chinese consider Friday the 13th to be lucky. With that, I’m releasing a new single from my upcoming double album, out Dec. 7th. This is a special album to me. Something I’ve been working on for a number of years. A reimagining of some of my best ‘unreleased’ music, from what I now understand to be my prime. Check this track out – the basic track was recorded in early 1988, with overdubs from 2014, 2018 and 2020. I’ll explain the technicalities as we get closer to the album coming out. Let me know what you think….

New Album | Live From The InSync Asylum: Volume 1

New Album Out Now | Live from the InSync Asylum: Volume 1

When I released the ‘In Trouble’ double single in late March of this year, I said it was from my upcoming album.  This is not that album. It wasn’t until a few weeks back that it dawned on me I had another new album if I wanted one, sitting right there on my hard drive.  After spending a little time remixing and mastering it, I think Volume 1 is a pretty special collection of songs, and a definite sign of the times. It’s also the first collection of songs I’ve ever done where you can watch the whole thing on YouTube. Without the unfortunate Covid-19 outbreak (which is still in full force in much of the world), this album would not exist.  Check out Episode 19 of the Podcast where I discuss the album in detail…

Paul Kitchen | Live From the inSync Asylum: Volume 1 Trailer

New Album! Paul Kitchen | Live From the inSync Asylum: Volume 1. Watch the Trailer below, available the next full moon 8/3/20. Highlights from my recent ‘No Rhyme or Reason Tour’. It took over 40 years for me to write these songs. And it took a Pandemic for me to revisit them. I last played in a band in 1989. It took some time for my body to figure out what I was trying to do, and for me to figure out how to do it. The technology made it possible for me to perform live to some basic tracks recorded across a 36 year period. I left the mistakes in. Let me know what you think.
